I've got a soft spot for my old ZX6R G1 . Wasn't that great a bike but it was my first !!

Im tryin to find a piccy of a Motobi Pesaro moped thingy that I got knicked on when I was 14 but they didnt have cameras back then... That was wot got it all started for me - ah..... reminising aint what it used to be.

a bit like my first 'field' bike that my Mum said I could use because my Dad bought it but never used it



I used to ride it on the local fields every single day and loved every second of it, even when the bearings used to drop out of the back wheel, I rode on the fields come rain or shine it was bloody brilliant, kids have it far to easy these days bar humbug  :occasion14:

This is the closest i can find to my first bike.





Mine was bright yellow with a 3 speed gearbox that chaged on the twist grip like a vespa no shopping basket thankfully. probably a rare thing now i only ever saw the one when i had it. then to a suzuki GP100, RD 250, suzuki GT 250, DT185 air cooled, DT125LC, KMX200 , DTR 125, GPZ 550, GPZ 750 turbo, GPZ900r, XT600 Tenere, Honda dominator, FZR1000 exup , fireblade, ZX900r b4, and now the 10. Probably 1 or 2 others there somewere had this thing for building one off things in my shed for a few years, like puting an FZR600 engine into a klr 250 frame. I still like the big single trialy bikes though a different kind of buzz

this thread is wasted on me as I only have been biking a short time..... but I do love the 7R but my one was a dog and was glad to see the back of it...

I do still wish I could of kept my 636 she was a beaut and was loud as fook ... just couldn't afford to keep it... plus it aint really old as it was an 05  :icon_thumright:

Only riding less than 2 years.

ZZR600 onto ZX6R (06)

Done almost 20,000 miles in that time as well.

I love it so much I got rid of the car and use the bike everyday no matter what the weather.  I was out in the snow we had a while ago as well.
