jon....good result in the end mate well done....worst av ever had was a metzler racetec on a k2 gsxr1000 I killed it in about 600 mile bloody thing was shredded to bits.....am runnin pirelli diablo corsas now on the 10.....and jesus wept the fookin punctures am pickin up is unreal av had 3 rear punctures in the last year first 2 were after approx 400 mile on new tyres the last was last bank holiday monday after tyre had done approx 1500 mile.....and also got one front puncture last year on way to TT.....thought it was just me at first but me mates runs a RR1000 BLADE with same tyres and he picked up 2 rear flats last year aswell....am puttin it down to the softness of the tyres they will pick anythin up.....must admit though av never contacted pirelli on the matter mainly cos a think they will just fook me off as its punctures not general wear.....anyways pleased you sorted out  :icon_thumright:

Avon's service has always been good and I've always liked their tyres since putting them on Magic has looked comfortable throwing his 6 over and nearly had knee down on normal bends. Good result Jon it will be interesting to see what it's like when you're at Mallory.  :icon_thumright:

Jon...emailed pirelli....but just as a thort they say they cant be held responsible for punctures which is fair comment a spose but like you say it was worth a try...
