Well it went this morning now got to wait for insurance to get they're fingers out and pay me some money
They have said it could be 4-6 weeks
As I use the bike daily for work and ride all year round it's going to be a bit of a ball ache

They asked me if I thought it was repairable and I said no
I was then told that in that case it would be collected for assessment

Been told by insurance today that it will probably be 4-6 weeks before I get an offer

Try your household insurance mate. Your leathers and Lid may be covered, personal possesions having accidental damage. worth a try.
