another trek
« on: October 25, 2008, 08:38:40 PM »

Well i got a call from gilbert the other day there saying he had seen a bike he wanted to go see, so i said no probs will ocme with you opn sat, well we drove half way across the country just to get there and find out the bike had been sold that morning. In the end it didnt matter once had taken a look at it it was far from clean and way too expensive for the state it was in.

Anyway we headed off and stopped at another bike shop ont he way home to see if they had any 636's for him, any colour would have done he was getting desperate.  unfortunately they didnt have any in there but i mentioned i was looking for a bmc race filter for my 10r, he turns round and says he's got a full arrow race system for the 10r sitting that he got ages ago for someone but who never picked it up so gave it to me with a pc3 and bmc race filter for less than the system woulda cost me alone :) so the day was not a total loss for me.

thing is i am gonna have to stop going to look at bikes with gilbert cause every time i do i end up with new bits for my bike
