Potential owner
« on: June 05, 2008, 09:26:36 PM »

Hi Guys,

Just a quick hello.

Been riding bikes for years on and off and currently on a BlackBird as I thought I'd got the touring bug - turns out I was wrong and it's still the trackday bug!

Previous bikes include 916, Blade, R1 - all the usual suspects but I've never had a Kwak and the 10r is supposed to be pretty mental  :headbang:

Not quite sure what I've let myself in for!

Cheers!

Phil

BlackBird at the mo' and I'm near Ashford in Kent.

I get down to the A2 or Oakdene on a Wednesday night every now and then.

Cheers,

Heard loads of stories (probably pub BS mostly!) but took them with a pinch of salt - I've got to ride something for 1000 miles before I can make a decision but I actually quite like the nuttah reputation   B-)

There is a black '06 up on another forum and I've offered the guy a deal as he wants a tourer so we'll see but failing that BB's aren't that hard to sell and then I can have a look around.

Cheers for the welcome!

the 06's were a touch softer to be honest ... engine still nuts but riding position a bit more relaxed  :icon_thumleft:

I'm the same mate, need to ride a bike for several miles before I really know if I like it!

I have also had several bikes including 3 R1's, 954 Blade, Mille R and 2 ZX7R's and I now have an 06 Black ZX10 which after covering 1k miles in a month (no commuting!) I absolutely love it and this increases every time I ride it!

You won't regret it and welcome to the forum. :icon_thumleft:

Cheers guys.

The bloke with the ZX10 didn't go for the PX deal so as soon as my bike sells I'll be in the market  :headbang:
