I haven't tried one, but these look good..

http://www.ebuyer.com/product/131342 they keep coming down in price as well. Play MP3 and MP4..

3.5" screen, for 60 quid inc vat, got to be worth a go. I think you can install tomtom, and also unlock it to get to windows mobile, if you're that way inclined  :lol:

I bought the tomtom one european model for the wife from halfords

and she keeps finding her way home (unfortunalty) so it can't be that bad.. :crybaby2:

Don't get the Garmins ones they are fucking wank .... took my works one to oulton and it took me green laning in my fecking transit

for a second I though colin mcrae had taken over my body

thestig thought it was quite an interesting route  :shock: fooking about 25 miles out our way too ...

I have always found TOMTOM and my  "Mio" very good

Yeah took us down some "road" ( i say this loosely) that appeared to be some kind of rally special stage, fun if we had been in an EVO

Not so much in a transit van :(

TOMTOM are ok i spose but what ever happened to reading a map.........

This may well be true however my PC is quicker than NASA and is less likely to have a breakdown aswell.

plus i can use my Itouch to remote connect to my pc and access google maps or any other map based webpage :)

Yeah my Navman does an alright job; however it has sent me green laning a few times (once with bunny down near Colchester!!!)

I'm thinking of upgrading to a newer one, as the maps/database isn't supported anymore

If you just want a basic model the Tom Tom One is good enough,
never had any problems with mine.

And piece of piss using it on the bike too
