chrisblackzx10r,i'm running dunlops mate,i buy all my tyres from a guy i know who races in british superbikes(Neil Faulkner)
and i must say they are the b-llo-ks.The 16.5 dymags are the best wheels i've ever had for these tyres. As for running these on trackdays as long as you get the temps right(1.5 bar hot)or 28 rear cold,31 front cold there fine, always use tyre warmers though, and leave the pits as everyone has just left so theres no hanging around, then just past everyone in the 2nd lap lol :icon_thumleft:

Racetecs and SC pro's are plenty good enough mate and much easier to get and keep heat in. If you want to try slicks just get a cheap set of scrubs and have a blast on a trackday and see what you think. Need tyre warmers 100% though as said above

jon177 if things go to plan i'm hoping to run in the  MRO powerbike series but if next year is like this year with work i guess i'll just do around 2 trackdays a month, because i've been flat out all year working, and i've just won another large building contract,so weekends off racing will be a NO NO lol.
