If memory serves you just flip the bit round that clamps onto the gear selector shaft coming out of the engine.

If you are used to a reverse pattern, fitting a quickshifter to a road pattern shift isn't going to do anything except help you select the wrong gear quickerexcept

They are good bits of kit ,spesh the translogic ones (if set up correctly) much better than the power commander effort. But if yer man is used to 1 up 5 down then he needs to get that sorted first.

Doctor says WHAT???????????????

Nah Andy's right, quick shifter wont reverse shift, it only controls the direction ie come in 2 modes ...a Push or a Pull!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To reverse shift you need to revers the linkage, simply reverse the clamp on the shifter the opposite way.

However, on the 10r 04/05... if you try and reverse it the selector  it hits the belly pan. [wall] so a extension will be needed or cut the belly pan.. :dontknow:

:icon_scratch:  but i cant work out why you would want to do this for street riding, apart from Racers using this way, the only other people who reverse shift are people who ride very very old bikes that already change gear in this way so they try to uniform it ie 1 up rest down.
