Nasty mobile unit on the A27 outside Arundel heading towards Chichester. I didn't even see it, just got the NIP in the post.

I went out a couple of weekends ago on a nice empty stretch of a-road and blasted the old girl to (well lets just say well to much)  just for a bit, then i felt like a right criminal and thought shit better get out of here in case someone saw that. now reading your story im crapping it a bit incase i get a nice letter through the post. I'd be totally screwed if i lost my licence so i don't know why i do it but on the zx10r it's so bloody easy. [wall]

Ouch! That is harsh!
My advice to anyone in a similar situation is to turn up in court looking smart and presentable, with your best sorry face, and a well prepared statement of mitigation.
I think the statement made a huge difference. In my case I focussed on the fact that a ban would have a significant impact on my family, more than me.
