The 08 swingarm will go straight it with no modification. Not sure about the shock, fella. How much are you after for the fairings?

Cheers.

I managed to get a set of fairings for the bike. I've got everything except the tail unit. A very big thank you to zxr99 for the fairings :icon_thumright:

I've placed the fairings on the bike but not bolted them on yet. I've just ordered a full set of bolts, washers, well nuts, weld nuts etc, so once they arrive I'll fit the fairings properly.

I've still got my original tail unit and there's only a small scuff down the right-hand side, so I'll be dropping it off at Dreamland Motorcycle Paintshop next week to get it sorted.

The bike up to now:

Cheers Roy. I won't be officially discharged from hospital for another 2 years. It's just a waiting game at the moment to see if my bones fall apart lol.

At the moment I've got hardly any movement in my right ankle and it causes me severe discomfort and pain. My consultant wants to fuse the ankle but won't do it until I decide I want it done. I mean, it will get rid of a lot of pain for me and I would like to get it done, only problem is he reckons it's a complicated fuse and the estimated recovery period is a year.

I'd rather keep going through the pain barrier every day instead of being on the sidelines again. It's shit when you're not going to work etc.
