Hi, think it depends  if you ever going  to take it off again.if they badly marked then the  Easiest would be to flat the lowers using fine wet and dry, could use fine filler in any deep stone chips ,having said that  the Di-Noc is fairly thick anyway and should cover minor marks. My bike being raw titanium has no clear coat over the decals so they are easy to remove with some heat, think on green and black versions they are under the clear and so its a more involved  (and no going back ) to remove them . Just take your time and use a hairdryer to stretch it, make sure you de grease the panel front and back and double any estimate of time you think it will take !!   :icon_thumright:

Seen what you did andicog and thought I'd give it a go myself....Took 3 hours in total from start to finish and quite pleased with the end result.  Your tip with the hairdryer works wonders and makes it easier to apply.

I've heard it lifts with heat a bit to easily?

Was thinking of similar for me 'barra but I suspect it would lift with the heat from the cans?

I dont think the  cans are close enough to cause any problems, mine was stood outside all day in the sunshine, it got so hot I could barely touch the tail , no lifting at all.  :icon_thumright:
