Depending on how far you needed to send it would hiring a 7.5t may be an option???

Roof rack Andy on a large van.
Our biggest ladders are 6.5mts long and we put them on the roofrack al the time.
As long as you make sure most of it os over the front and the rear is obvious (fook off big flag) then its ok.
Just make sure it is VERY WELL tied down.

found another at 5 metres, thinking of taking the front seat outof the vectra to fit  it in with the tailgate open of course and a flag on the end unlessanyone knows where i could hire a long trailer for the day from , near chester  :dontknow:

Have you tried either Port sunlight Trailers (0151 645 4735) or ADR down on Dock Street (near you  ;-))

I have a ivor williams 16 ft trailer twin wheel  but im in Stafford sides come off if any use for ya ?

all sorted now , decided to buy two, a 4m and a 3 m, managed to get 'em in the car / pushbike towbar unit thing and have them fitted now  :headbang:
