Ok how many of you trackdayers/club racers have started doing training ready for the start in mid-Feb of the season?

I'm down the gym 4 days out of 7 doing a variety of weight, mma and cv exercises and gawd am I unfit... [wall]

I'm cracking the swimming quite heavily at the mo, will start a bit more in the way of weights and stuff in a couple of weeks.....keep puttiing it off cause I know it's gonna hurt.   :tongue3:

Took some advice from them, and they recommended that!  

Was thinking of getting some of these new deep sweat tops...look like bin liners, but supposed to help you get a deep sweat and burn more calories.  I just need to be really careful, cause if I do too much CV, I lose bulk.  Hence the above...that should stop that from what I've been led to believe.

i`ve been doing a load o weight training i`m now 2 stone heavier aroond the belly and am saving up for new leathers as a dinnae think al ever fit back intae ma auld ones.

What do you need the bulk for mate?? When you're throwing that bike around in the quick group, you'll feel better with more cardio/endurance training

what is there to do,,,,,,,,,,,,,all i do to get ready is put all my gear in the back of a van place bike in back of van and tie down job down,,im now ready for the trackday season                [whistle] [whistle]

you guys must be well out of shape if you carn`t do that,,,,,,,,,
