horse a if you have a dual bounce it is harder to pedal smoothly as you lose energy in the bounce... I know you probably know this but I still think a hard tail would be better  :icon_thumright:

but if you look at my bike I have an S-works epic with a smart rear shock. It locks out on hard level ground and works when you start to go cross country and hit uneven ground. Best off both worlds. I was I hard tail man till I got this am now a convert!!!

I raced in downhill for 3 years,when I quit the bike was sold and replaced with a 'good ol hardtail'

I built my bike custom with a magnesium frame that weighed 2.8 pounds all up weight was only 28 lbs wish I hadn't of sold it for 300 quid to go on the piss .... stupid Para's :dontknow:
