Boring I know but necessary. I ride all year round and need a warm and 100% waterproof coat. Any ideas on the best one? I have tried Frank Thomas, Richa & Buffalo. All about the same to me and none are really warm. Either its getting colder or I'm getting older

Well dunno if it's getting any colder but, you`re definitely getting older, the best jacket that i find hardly ever leaks, and is always really warm is my Seat leon tdi

i have got to say that any jacket i have got int he end always lets a bit of water in so you end up damp over time you cqn usually solve that tho by spraying it wioth the waterproof stuff you get for tents.  In the end i found that one piece rain suits with a kind of sleeping back inside work the best for me, plus they are very cheap compared to jackets and trousers.

Hein Gericke Master or the one below. NEVER leaked even in biblical downpours and toasty warm. Add an Exo2 waistcoat underneath it along with the gloves and its all year round warm

try the hein gericke tricky 2 gore tex if you like shorter style jackets. ive got one and it is pretty warm in winter and never has let any water in .i do wash and proof it regular though using nikwax.
if you prefer longer jackets the cruise range has always had a good reputation as a fab jacket.

I've got the Heine Gericke jacket and trousers, that can be turned into salopettes in the winter to keep your kidneys warm.  It gets used nearly every day, 100 mile commute, and it's not leaked after a good three years use.
