I just bought mine the other day there for 120 euros(from a bike shop), was rather dissapointed when i got home to find there was only one bulb and that i would have to get 2 kits if i wanted both sides workign with hid bulbs

Mine came with slimline ballasts, worth while mod if you ride all year round! Yogi tells me you get noticed more

Its not jsut whilst filtering, i was going along today in the slow lane with a bus in front of me, a guy in a golf slowly pulled over into the side of me after banging my horn he eventually saw me and moved out into the fast lane again then pulled behind me and started banging his horn, at the next traffic lights he wound down his window and started going nuts at me, surprisingly enough i went a bit nuts myself and he appeared to realise shouting at a biker in that situation was not a good idea and shut up.

Andy they are awesome, i work out in the sticks and projection of light is outstanding! To me the pics you see dont do justice. For winter riding its the best mod to a bike i have ever done to a bike.

what did you opt for 8000k  ? 

 it seems that the 4300's are best but most going for the blue of the 8000K  well that's what they claim anyhow

I went for the 6000k and cannot fault them, think thats what yogi and a few others are running. Think any more than that and you might run into issues blindin people 
I have found that people dont forget to dip there beam with these fookers

8000k will get you pulled Andy as its nearly blue.
4300k is factory fit BMW, etc
5000k is daylight white( but you can't buy them)
6000k is the best as its not as yellow as factory and as Yogi if he knew I was behind him

Wow they even go up to 12k, thats nearly violet, be beautiful colour but like you said, would get pulled.
