Well it,s safe to say 08 has been a shite year for me. still haven,t ridden since my July  26th get-off,  and am just getting the use of my arm back after a 2 month absence from work, not a penny in 9 weeks ( self employed you see) gets back to work this week and gets the news today that " No point turning up Monday morning, there,s no work for anyone". so that,s it....... i,m now officially unemployed. it,s a first for me for about 20 years. Anyhow, given my new financial circumstances thought i,d get in touch with my Ducati dealer. As they still have my bike in the workshop being repaired i had a word with them about keeping hold of it and selling it once repaired. It was at this point i was informed " i may be suprised by what it would fetch!" i know it,s a bad time to be selling a bike, what with the economy at the moment, but the real killer for the resale value of a 1098 is..... 09 bikes will be 1198cc ( same capacity as the R) and Ducati have announced a 1st today..... 0 % finance. No fecker will want a 1098 now! i may as well wheel it into the canal. think i will change my forum name from Magic 1   to " Unlucky 1"

I'm sure you will be able to sell it.. 0% finance is a killer but sometimes people do not want to go for a brand new one and want a second hand bike to see if they like it.. but what do I know..sorry for you situation..  good luck..

Naa im sure we can do better than that..................i have a contact with Kensington builders we supply them with windows and we have just put a bid for windows in 80 new houses on a blackpool site to be dun soon..........ill ask there if anything is going.................

hmm sorry to hear about the bad news...keep the chin up, there are going to be a few more knocks to come as the world shakes itself down and finds that no one has any money because people have it hidden under their beds....
