Hi all - Shark ere
« on: October 07, 2008, 08:12:18 PM »

Just poppin in and sayin hello... I'm not really the Forum type (if there is one) but as we all have something in common, I may feel at home. I have been riding for 20yrs and amongst the bikes owned were the 6R & of course the 7R (best handling bike to date). I now have the pleasure of an 08 ZX10R and have burnt 900 miles into it so far. The first service was carried out after 520 miles and the first hard ride was at 750miles with me bro (Clam Jowster - ZX10) and brother in law (06 Blade). God these Cornish roads are good... The bike is a star and the handling is not as bad as we have been lead to believe in various columns. As is widely known, the rear suspension is rock hard to cope with the new geometry and occasionally punches your lungs out of your mouth (Cornish Roads) :-P :-P, also a touch of white finger also appeared after  60miles of post running in pleasure - not so much due to the cold but more with engine vibration when rolling off the gas I think. I'll leave it open for readers to decide whether 12000rpm in 6th has been achieved... Any way look forward to yarnin with you all and enjoy em They're Great!!!!!!!

Howdoo Monsiuer Horse. I'm down in St Dennis about 15 mins from Helston as the 10R flies. Sounds like a grand plan - have several bikers who will enjoy a good raz. Some top back roads in the area - keep us posted!!!
Not sure how to reply to individual replies on a post so appologies if I bolloxed yours up
