Agreed it does look better without the jordon size cans, BUT  now its trying top be an 08 10R!

you sure its big bang you would know straight away by the sound if it was? i doubt they would make a production big bang engine because of the stress it puts on the primary gear and the gear box. could be wrong but like i say i very much do ubt its a big bang engine.

wonder how much difference the crank makes........ if it works then I guess it will be coppied pretty quickly. It does say it has a different firing order to normal engines but I thought big bang engines fire a couple of cylinders at once, in which case this is not big bang.
as for the pipes, I reckon it looks like a triumph speed triple   :tongue3:

you are correct a big bang fires a couple of cylinders at the same time if this does not do this its not a big bang.

read blurb on yam website said conrods are 90 deg apart something like 270 90 180 90 or something from what i remember and engine has an extra balance shaft too...

now i know im biased but i preffer my 08 10r.. never been a fan of Whamhaha's.. look too big up front and when sitting on them it feels like you will catch every car on the road , they seem to wide in the Nose..

lots of road bikes also have cranks that spin counter clock wise including zx10r`s.
Im bit of a geek when it comes to this tech stuff so wont go on about it but its to help with  gyroscopic  effect.

is the Chip Control Throttle just yamahas name for fly by wire?? i am not sure i would trust that, we've all heard that annoying noise from speakers when someone calls you mobile, imagine that happening to your throttle
