It does indeed look crap, but the fact remains that you can still say "i put my elbow down on a corner" and despite looking shit it sounds very cool

i managed this (like the guy in the pic with palm on the bar end etc) on an aprilia mille about 10 - 15 years ago cause i heard that you could, i dotn think it really counts when you do that tho cause its more of a reaching thing, if i opened my trousers i could prob get my cock down too if i tried hard enuff but iot would have nothing to do with the amount of lean you have got going on

No pics, No proof!

good point but as it was in the age before digital cameras i wasnt having pictures taken every 10 seconds like now :)  but the point was more that almost anyone can do it if they can get their knee down, its just a case of having your arm in the right position (i.e hanging big time off the bike, i rekon a lot of people on here could easily do it on their 10r (not me tho way too chicken to try that sort of thing nowadays) I mean just look at that r1, its no where near maximum lean and it appears to be on a road without the camber advantage of a track

Its a bit like saying "hey, I can get my fucking head down.....when I bounce done the track"....but at least I can say it"??!?!?

I am sure most of the boys on here love the quest for the holy grail that is knee down heaven (even the constant quest for those who do it regularly) but this is going a bit far.  Form over functionality really....? Its quite clear this is not a sustainable or viable way to ride and actually from the gentlemans own admission, took a considrable modification to riding style (possible over the boundary of still being safe).

When we did the TWO magazine shoot, the professional photographer and journo's all agreed (as proved by Mr G) that hanging off a bike doesn't prove anything and looks like shit.  A good bike shot should be a happy compromise between bike angle and riders body position.  Anyone can hang off like a baboon but it takes more skill and therefore looks more "trick" to do the other.

I love my ten and my beautiful bodily form and current state of ugliness far to much to try and prove a point of how big my fucking bollocks are.  Which to be honest, this is a clear example of dangerous irresponsbile male testorone filled bravedo thats gets people into trouble!!!

Thats the case for the prosecution your honour!
