BASTARDS, another reason never to move back to the shithole that is called the uk, all they can do atm is get your adress etc but now they want to be able to browse your personal life online at will with no justification, i say it again BASTARDS

here in holland the police arnt allowed to do fuck all like that.  They tried to push on the isp's here handing over details about the file sharing thing and 4 times it got dismissed in court making it very difficult for them to ever do it again.

I work for an ISP as does the stig .... and its a joke.....  [wall] how are we meant to be able to sell the product we do with all this crap....

our biggest selling point is a

No Black box type watching devices what so ever you get a clean open connection to the net thats you own with no proxies no filters and no caps on our network  B-)

This government disgusts me.......

They "claim" its for our own safety, (to combat terrorism, fraud, drug trafficking, whatever it may be)

What they really mean is so they can have a shed load of information on all of us to keep tabs on us.

And why the hell should we trust them?

this is the same government that trusted some bloke in a van to deliver 8000 passports or something, only a week ago and we can all remember when several discs were lost contain very personal and/or private information because the responsible department sent them via Royal mail.

MI5/6 cant even keep hold of their own bloody information, they keep leaving laptops around (in london!!) how the hell can they be trusted with our personal information?

The real terrorists will have people that will tell them to put up a proxy and route it to another country to avoid the monitoring, or however you need to do it. So we are takign a massive infringement on our civil liberties just to make it harder for the national security services to catch the people they already cant catch!

At any point are we allowed to vote for someone with a degree of intelligence? If so please wake me up when that person gets into power.

So, lets start our own political party, most other parties focus at least somewhat on the 3 r's (reading writing and arithmatic, doesnt say much for politicians spelling tho) where as we courd focus on the 10r's :)
