Yes just a year, and believe me I've taken some stick from the guys I go out biking with, after buying the ZX, comments like, are you mad, it's a bit of a beast of a bike. So i'll just have to prove them all wrong.

Okay fair point, I did read up about them, didn't just go out and buy one. So I do appreciate what I've bought

this is the whole point though it takes a certain type of person to say ..... I want a beast .... fuck you pussies who are scared lets have it....

and then every time we get off our bike we smile like Cheshire cats saying ... yes I survived another ride on the beast

:iamwithstupid:  I like the fact that my bike still scares the shit out of me...I love the fact that I know the bike is soo much better than me...and as I improve I will get more out of it.

I have to admit and think that, well on my 06 model, it takes some configuration changes to get the most out of the bike.  Out of the crate they are very rough around the edges and a bit of handful.  Even for experienced riders.

I reckon, for me...once i get my suspension sorted my bike it will be my perfect bike.

Can only agree with you guys, I bought it because I wanted something faster for the track. Done a couple of track days on my SV, but it didn't have the accellaration. I've never been one to have anything small (that sounds bad), be it cars, horses etc, so not intending to start now
