Well....the day has finally arrived!  I opened the garage door to roll out my nicely spruced up 2000 Ducati 748 Biposto.

For those of you that remember, I bought the bike back in May from a mate who needed to get rid.  The previous owner (Not my mate) had not looked after it too well and it was definitely showing signs of neglect and a lack of manly bike love.  So I threw it into the back of a van, brought it home and over the past few months have been lovingly getting her back to a reasonable state.   Not 100% perfect, but a million miles better than it was....

Now for those of you that know me will know I am no bike mechanic and look positively awkward with tools in my hand.  So this was a real learning curve for me and a opportunity to get up close and personal with a bike.  Admittedly I didn't have to do many mechanical things, and the ones I did probably took 15 times longer than they should be hey ho.  You know what they say "Every day is a school day".

Its had a cosmetic strip down.
100% Degrease and Wash (Steam and Pressure wash)
Clean and Polish (well kinda)
New Battery
New Air Filters
New Oil Filter
New Oil
New Fairing Bolts (original DZUS ones)
New Brake Resorvoir
New Italian Flag Reflector
..plus lots of little bits I can't remember!

Anyway, to chart my progress through this "labour of love" I took a few photo's along the way...and I present them to you now.  From Start to Finish!

Enjoy
