Yeah nice mod - looks good. I would be a bit concerned about the side view (people being able to see you indicate) but looks sooooo much better.

I think if i had an 08 i would do exactly that then, instead of the old style indicators i'd perhaps drill the fairing in the normal area and stick a line of bright amber LED's poking their heads through, or something similar.

looks good to me fella but I thought the 08 mirrors were supposed to be better than the 1st gen    or is it all about the positioning rather than the mirrors perhaps ?

As far as actually being able to see anything in them, the 08 mirrors are much better than the earlier models. I just didnt fancy them without the indicators fitted, they look too wide and gangly.   

The 08 mirrors should work really well on earlier models, they are longer but mounted closer together so not as good on 08 as I expected.  Don't know about looks on early models expect you may need wide vehicle label on back

Mate you've got that spot on looks wise in my opinion, good work there why didn't Kawasaki make em like that in the first place. Some side repeaters and your'e done.
