Yeah my Navman does an alright job; however it has sent me green laning a few times (once with bunny down near Colchester!!!)

I'm thinking of upgrading to a newer one, as the maps/database isn't supported anymore

Dave
:iamwithstupid:  That was very funny....with some bloke going "You carn't drive over there...thats my land ;-) "

TomTom all the way baby....its by far the easiest one to use, has loads of add ons liek Speed Camera's etc and whats more, you can use it as a handsfree kit for your phone via bluetooth.

It didn't get as popular as it is for no reason.

I'm just installing my Tom Tom on my new phone...woo hooo!

Any chance of pic's from the side to see how you mounted it?

Bought one of these from ebay  http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Motorcycle-Cigarette-Power-Socket-YZF-CBR-ZZR-GSXR-ZX6R_W0QQitemZ330234249475QQihZ014QQcategoryZ25643QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

After wiring up to battery it can be stored under the riders seat when not being used.

When needed just run the lead up the tank (put some duc tape under it (so it doesnt scratch), then duc tape over the lead (stops it flapping about).

It is attached using the standard car windscreen mount using some more tape to make sure it is secure.

Screen keeps the rain off too !!

It may not have the feature of the bike specific one but it is much cheaper and does the job.

Another vote for the TomTom One. I have the XL and it's always done me OK. If you can afford it I'd go for the XL as the larger screen makes it easier to use. IMO
