Yet another newbie!

Hello all, I've been lurking on this site for some time now whilst lusting after a ZX10R so thought it time to introduce myself!  :hello2:

Well, now I have one, just picked up(well 2 weeks ago) a black beautiful, yes beautiful, 56reg ZX10R. Standard apart from single seat cowl and tail tidy. Only covered 600 miles and still got warranty til 2009. I absolutely love it!!
A long term Kawasaki fan since my first ZX7R 10yrs ago, brief spell on an R1 last year and definitely have made the right choice with the new purchase.

05 ZX10 was the first choice but couldn't walk away from this one! :icon_thumright:

My first impression of the 10 was  definitely the performance, I read some reviews saying it lacked low down power but it certainly feels alright to me and I'm still running it in!

The ZX10 obviously feels like a big step up in power from the ZX7 but also the R1 and so far I just love everything about it and it makes me feel like the 7 used to when I ride it! The way the airbox snarls as you open the throttle is pure addiction! :-S

This model also seems to get slated for its looks but I love it and chose it over an 05 ZX10 available at the same time although must admit the mileage and deal offered did sway me! As for any other comparisons its still early days other than the 'on it' rather than 'in it' riding position of the 10.
