Winter (?!!) Project
« on: April 22, 2008, 10:41:19 PM »

Well, sort of................................the weather's been crap enough lately !!!

Bought it from my Brother-in-law. He's only done 2000 miles on it in over 5 years and it's been stood for a while, so needs some TLC. 5000 miles on the clock only.

Started as this:

Having taken the socket set to it and a load of photos later:

Keeps me out of mischief at any rate !!! Will be selling it, when finished.

Toying between leaving it stock and going for a Konica Minolta Paintjob.

Needs a top right fairing panle, as he dropped it and had it welded/painted, but the colour isn't a perfect match.

Just wondering whether to change the oil and filter, before I have a go at starting it, or whether to run it first and get it warm, as you would normally ? It hasn't been run for about a year !

if it's not been used much I'd check the sight glass for condensation just in case and if it's a bit white and foamy after running for a while drop it out and stick new in  :icon_thumright:
