Dont they still weigh a huge amount as standard though?

Practically all of the weight is removed when you remove the standard baffle and replace them with the light weight race baffles.

GUys, not sure if this is true but i was told today that police / mot stations have to test bike on Db's in english he said it was no longer required to have the kite mark on exhaust.

ill put it to the test next time im out and get stopped... well officer have you got a db tester to prove my exhaust is to noisey? :emb:

Well being an mot tester i had a look on the vts computer for class 1& 2 motorcycles and it seams that its down to the tester to decide if a zorst is too noisy or not. No mention of bs marks etc or Db limits. Tried to find out more under construction and use but you need a degree in red tape to fathem that out. All i managed to find out was bikes over 175 cc had a Db limit of 82 but no info on at what revs this was or distance from the exhaust. Probably find out most coppers dont know either. And if they cannot quote the relavent law you are SUPPOSED to be breaking how can they nick you for it?
