Rex, our Taiwanese Beauty Snake has just shed again, for the 3rd time this year.  We've just measured him and reckon he's about 8'9'' and still growing.  Reckon he'll hit over 9' by the time he stops growing.

Thats abeut Big Gaz. Never seen one of those. I worked at Johannesburg zoo for 4 years when I was a teenager. I did snkae demos every Sunday. Did some for morning TV etc. Milked rattlers, Puf adders and cobras. Played with Boa's, African Rock Python's and Yellow anacondas. Love snakes ( of the scaly kind) but not allowed any as pets due to Kids and my bike ( so says the wallet manageress).
Will  have to post some pics of the snakes we used to have.

rockies are a bit hard to tame. unless hand reared right from egg. Boas are more docile and tend to bight less. Wait until youhave to start feeding him whole chickens or rabbits

I know he is bad enough with mice...very aggressive but yes he has been handled since birth but i dont get to play with him as often as i need to...and the kids dont play with him anymore...so its left to me...he will be in a zoo by the time he is that big though...I hope anyway, or with a more avid collector....

EXJ10R yeah i'm hoping in the next couple of years to give up the carpentry work and just breed burmese pythons,i know a few good breeders now and a good friend on mine who breeds boa's lost one of his females last year and they carry live snakes not eggs and she had 72 snow boa's in her that go for 1200.00 each so guess how he felt,86 grand down on one snake gutted  :crybaby2: :crybaby2: :crybaby2:
