cheers G, no service history most probably and I hate the blacked out rear windows, meaning a young lad has ragged it around and prob never serviced it  :dontknow:

I had a Passat as a comp car for 3 or 4 years and it was superb hence me being tempted back to one and 50mpg + draws me in , plus Chris can service/fix it too  [whistle]

I know and it's kjust the same as a Passat too just a bit cheaper, I wonder where the money savings are on it though  :dontknow:

There must be a few lesser quality parts etc and I'm sure that Chris will be along shortly to enlighten us   :icon_thumright:

Hey,

There's 3 blue Passat 100 S Saloons going through Derby auction on the 2nd April.. 58 to 66K on the clock.. will be ex company cars so probably full history.

Trade price will be between 5 and 6K.. plus buyers fee of course.

There's quite a few others (56) going through at various times over the next couple of weeks.. if you want any more info, let me know.

We got a new Passat in temporarily at work, what a pain in the arse.  Put the plipper in the hole in the dashboard, depress the clutch before you can press the plipper further in to start the car, put your foot on the brakes before pressing the electric hand brake, utter crap.  We have a Skoda Octavia pool car and it cruises at 85 and gives 60+mpg and it's nice to drive despite everyone and his dog thrashing it to death.

Guy at work has a C-Max, he says it chews up tyres if the pressures aren't 100%.

cheers Harv, I've made enquireies about a 53 reg 130 sport a few mins ago so that might come around for me , ex company car with FSH etc, quite fancy that one and if he'll take the Laguna off my hads for a few bob that'd be a cracker really, fingers crossed. I'll drop you a PM but am not sure about auctions simply because I haven't been to one so might pop along to a local one this week to see what goes on  :icon_thumright:  What's a sellers fee anyhow ?

Doug, yes the newer Passat has that weird handbrake thing but I'm looking at the previous model fella which was great from ym own experiences anyhow  :icon_thumright:

but all in all a solid car, easy to fix and very few problems to worry about

let me know if you find one and ill pass my master eyes over it for you dude
