Nope it's much cheaper than that. One of the reasons why Ducati were desperate for a capacity increase to cut costs.
Foggy got dispensation as they needed bikes on the grid.
Benneli did too, Peter Goddard was racing the bike long before they made any road versions

control tyres aren,t they ? heard R1 tyre problems arising cause they keep going for too soft compound. :dontknow:

There's all this talk about electronics and traction control in motogp yet in my opinion it's even more critical for the superbikes. They have more power and they weigh more and the tyres aren't as good so they really need all the help they can get

Corsa said he went for the hardest compound they had in the truck front and back, after 10 laps it was spent.
