Scary rear view mirror sight
« on: February 18, 2008, 08:44:33 PM »

Out driving along the A41 from Whitchurch to Chester today (3.30pm) look in my rear view mirror to see a plod bike behind me. Luckily just doing an indicated 60. Then look again as 1 plod becomes 3. Looked like an training job. Anyway one of them was an unmarked silver Pan and the lead rider was wearing a lovely dark visor that looked to me to be a lot darker than the legal limit. They all overtook and pulled in without any indicators going on and left me. Riders jackets were all marked as being Welsh police.

The Police helicopters come from down the A41, by the barracks at Ternhill, I didn't know traffic did as well.

Should have followed them, at speed if needed and if they pulled you over for it you should have said that there must be a design fault with their bikes, it seems that the indicators don't work and you just wanted to point it out to them as it's dangerous to change road positioning without indicating to any oncoming or following traffic and you'd hate to be the one coming around the corner to pick up the bits because of this.

Well that's the usual patter init.  :dontknow:
