Went rook bashing last night.

Took the ole FAC .22 air rifle. Fook me i forgot how much fun it is. Nailed 24 rooks and one woody for 28 shots 2 of the missis came when it was really dark so i can live with that. The woody was 70 yds hit the bugger dead center POA and it was through and through left a perfect .22 red dot on it's back. Must get out with it more.

yeah I went shooting on friday checked out my M4 with AOG site took out a few yanks with it , room clearances in abundance.....

It is a good crack if you like that sort of thing  jon :icon_thumright:  I know 70 yds aint that far but it's a tiny round launched by air and shooting into trees makes range finding a touch harder as the pellet acts a bit differantly when shot upwards. Prefer using the riffle as the the old semi auto shotgun scares every thing away after the first couple shots.

I wasn't a bad shot in the army.... always got a 50 pence 5 round grouping at 100 metres  B-)  :headbang:

I alway hit body centre of mass at 300 metres.... but I can tell you 3 para snipers  :shock: fook me those boys were good  B-)

Yeh right g, There are some amazing marksman in the mob. It's a total science and very hard to do takes more than a steady hand  :icon_thumright:

Haven't had much time on site lately but this post caught my eye. Nice shooting Gopher, useful tools them .22. Used a friends .17 rimfire the other day, tidy little beast. Done a couple of beaters days going roosting on saturday. No track days in winter have to have a zx10r clay shoot!
