Have to say, I saw this website on the news the other day and thought "Get a f**king life you said muppets"....I assume they have never broken any traffic regulations since passing there test in the 1940's.   The only thing these old codgers did was have to swerve left, avoid the V2 rocket and the german henchman and the emergency stop in the ration queue!"

I am making an assumption that most of these are old, when to be honest they probably aren't.  So I'll make another sweeping statement....bet most of em ain't been laid in well over a decade and all drive Toyota Prius'?

They were on that road rage programme a fortnight ago, one of them was shown in shadow cos of all the grief he gets.  They have video cameras on the dashboard so they can replay it later and fill their sad site with details of all the poor driving they witnessed.

Not tecnically true.  If its in a public place, such as a road or pavement then its completely legal.  They sight that law quite often in Road Wars (sorry, too much TV for me).  But I've checked it out and its fine. From what I understand, none of this evidence would be permissable as evidence against you.  So the cops wouldn't be able to use the evidence to prosecute.

Unlike however, these muppets that record themselves doing 130 through traffic and then posting on the web.  Thats a different law completely and is basically covered under the same laws as a confession.

Yes and no bunny. A friend in hants police says its a very dodgy area.
 We do a lot of work with the met and if the right piece of paper isn't signed you can get nicked rather than the scrotes the evidence is on!
Your right about it not being used against you though.
There is a certain carpark down here that is being sued by a lawyer for using ANPR and not notifying you of it until you're leaving. He's currently winning it. You are supposed to have the right to not enter the area if you don't want your details checked but this one is set up so you have to go in to come out - and they charge you for the priveledge as well as taking your piccie!
The difference with these twats is that they are intentionally going out and filming for the purpose of gathering evidence of poor driving and then displaying it. This is where it becomes dodgy. In my opinion the arseholes should be done for illegally gathering evidence and castrated - publicly
If they were filming solely for accident evidence - i.e if they have one then they are ok. Technically. There is a setup you can buy specifically for this.
The moment they post it up to show you doing something then you could sue them and should win.

Would take a test case I suppose to clarify it legally. Just what I know from asking certain amigos in blue is above. Is there a lawyer on here to ask? Could always pop over to PB

For the record, they are and always will be wankers for fucking about with this sort of shit. They should critise their own driving and make sure its of perfect DSA standards and then and only then comment on others. Then they probably are wankers as they obviously don't have a life or socialise with normal people so spend a lot of time on their own
