The TT owners club, state that the 0-60 time on the 3.2 DSG is 6.1 seconds not 6.4.  :tongue3:

Am remember, thats it is 4 wheel drive so when your fishtailing round the corner I will sail past ya...like Pirelli says "Power is nothing without control" ;-)

I ain't too fussed G to be honest and say that I did look at the M3 and decided it wasn't for me.  Not because of power, just personal choice.

All I know, is that its plenty quick enough for me and a fabulous drive.  I have had rep mobiles (a4's, vectras, lagunas etc) and essex tractors so trust me anything is an improvement.

As for you Horse, come on...I thought you would have had some pithy comeback...obviously not.  Maybe your t-shirts are restricting the blood supply to your brain ;-)

My wife had the tt mate and it wasn't a touch on the beemer and I have driven the 3.2 quattro's and it doesn't feel no where near as nice as the rear wheel drive motors..

I aint taking away the fact that the TT is a lovely car and quick ish ... but there is no way that a TT will ever touch the M3  :tongue3:

think there's every need dude

at the end of the day people buy what they want to buy because they like what they like, simple as that. but to start slagging it saying its not as good as mine i think is a little childish, not meaning to sound a twat its just the way i see it

Different Strokes for Different Folks....its all cool!

Cars are about personal choice, and personally I have driven the M3, Boxster and a Cayman in the last two weeks but for me, the TT did it for me. I like Audi's...always have.  So it made both personal and financial sense.  I could have bought a new Cayman but had a long chat with the missus, and agreed that my work is a little unstable at the minute so needed something I could still afford it if work went tits up.

DOn't get me wrong G, the M3 was a fabulous car but other than the drive felt just like my missus' 120d sport.  Same controls, same seats everything.  Except that does 50mpg compared to 25-30 of the M3.  The SMG box has been slammed by most journalist for being jerky and also prone to failure which can be costly.  That also put me off.  The DSG box on the Audi has been raved about and is claimed to be the best Semi Auto box available (just looked at the R8 and RS4)

It also helps having a VW (which is technically Audi) Master Technician on hand in case any work is needed.... (thats you Chris in case your wondering)

Whatever car I would have bought, I would have got some grief.  Thats male humour for you.  So don't worry about differing opinions boys...I'm big enough to take it!
