Here we go again DIY hell
« on: January 13, 2008, 05:42:23 PM »

This week it started as, "I know..........."she says, "we need to sand the paintwork in the hall to repaint it"  :-/  " I think we need  one of those "mouse sanders", so off we went and there it all started  [whistle]

This little bit of sanding and repainting now has a slight amount of scope creep  :crybaby2:

It seems that we are now replastering the walls in the hall, repapering the hall stairs and landing, new Wood floor in the hall and Kitchen (they link to each other). Today she said "I think that we should make the entrance to the kitchen wider by about 4 feet"  :-/ so I've done that, well started it at least  :tongue3:

So the bit of sanding is now

New hall and kitchen floor in wood
Repapering of the hall stairs and landing
New carpet for stairs and landing
Sanding right up stairs incl banister, well of course
Replastering of a few walls
Opening of kitchen entrance by 4 feet

Oh, how I love my annula DIY treats  [rofl] [rofl]

managed to bleed my brembo though and ran the bike in the garage almost shaking the house down   [rofl] [rofl] [rofl]

Aye, and so it happens.............. it's a life balance thing and as I knocked loads of plaster to the floor I thought about how I would make it all nice again  [whistle] [rofl] [rofl]

I enjoy to learn stuff and once it's done it'll be really nice..  :icon_thumright:   it's all good fun Jon, honest  :headbang:

I've got quite a few bike pics ready for framing and putting up the stairs, a few Hawk ones and a Black and white Barry Sheene and of course good old Kevin Schwantz.......... always a method in my madness pal  :icon_thumright:
