A Merry Christmas Newbie Hello!
« on: December 18, 2007, 05:53:52 PM »

Just a quick note to all to introduce myself, as i've already been slapped by the Mods  (sorry )

My name is Chris and i am 29 years old (or young, however you want to put it) and I live in Northampton.

I passed my test about a year ago and bought a 55 plate 2006 model black ZX6R and what a first bike that was!!! Had it for many months and enjoyed it so much. I wish i hadn't waited so long to get my bike test out the way. In March i was cleaning my chain and being lazy i did it with the engine on whilst in gear etc etc, not good, as my left thumb found out (see link, not sure how to post pictures as too big? - and please no silly comments i've heard them all already and it is surprisingly common don't you know   ) anyway, despite this i still never regret getting the biking bug. I also attach a link of a pic of my old bike in the Alps last summer - the most awesome place to ride a bike  :headbang:

I flogged that in September as i needed the money but now i'm back and as i'm sure you can all guess i've bought a lovely new R1....Kidding kidding, i'm just awaiting delivery of a 2006 model ZX1oR in the one and only colour one should have a bike in.........................BLACK! I will of course post pics up when i get her later this week.

Anyway, that's enough about me. I look forward to meeting you all hopefully next year at one of the various meets i'm sure will be arranged.

Chris

Thanks for all the responses guys. Haven't a picture i my thumb at the minute but they were unable to sew it back on - never mind i have another one (at the minute!)

I did send it in to superbike and got a free knox back protector though - zxyogi obviously doesn't miss a beat!

EXJ10r - we'll have to meet up some (warm) day soon.
