i'm not trying to convert any of you into being as cool as me, but a mate of mine was talking to me about someone he knows, who has his name and blood group on the side of his helmet, as well as his NOK (Next Of Kin) tel. number.  its made from a vinyl graphic, which he has had cut into letters

i always wear dog tags (perk of the job) when i ride, but thought this was such a good idea that i've had a set made at work...

i thought it would be good to promote this, because at the end of yth :headbang:e day, its in your interest to get the right blood, when you're not in the best position to talk (hopefuly it'll never happen, but hey, we're not all that lucky)

anyway, let me know what you think..
the fella in work will do me some quite cheap, as its not his vinyl, nor his cutter, just his beer money, so let me know

dont think that i'm doin this for money, if everybody got iyt done themselves, we'd still be safer, which is the aim.

it is a good idea but I wouldn't stick it on my lid..... we had a few lads tattoo'd blood group on various body parts..... all a bit doom and gloom if you ask me but good idea

i'm a Weapons Systems Operator in the RAF..
 it means i can do any of these jobs

1 - fly in transport planes, landin in fields droppin off troops and kit
2 - fly n support helicopters, looking after kit, trooping underslung loads and aircraft defence  (using a minigun, or a machinegun!!)
3 - fly in maritime patrol, or reconnaissance aircraft, spyin on the enemy in hot dusty places!!!!

non stop fun eh!!!!!

Some o my mates thought I was a bit weird at first, I did one under the corner of my visor, on a shoei I had.  Now got an Arai... miles better ! but not put the info in this one yet.  Personally, I think its good idea, you never know when some  Nob   in car is gonna Do You !   Some of us have done " First on Scene Training " sad o what ... only until you need it !   I put money in 4 boxes,  Air Ambulance, .... ( sunday morning Razzin'it cover )  RNLI, .... if my ferry go's down,  Sally Army, .... in case am destitute !!!... oh ... and another box  my missus knows now't about, Tyres, bolt-on's .... Strap-on's etc !!!

So how do I find out my blood type and am I gonna get stung for it?

to find your bllod group, you need to either join the armed forces, or you could just give blood sometime, and ask them to tell you
or, you could wait untilyou're next ill, and ask your doctor to do a blood test........

erm sorry mate..... all you need to do is ask your doctor nothing hard about that, they have it on your NHS file
