So whilst standing next to my bike today at NEC heard 3 American accents saying over my shoulder in an American twang "Awesome bike and loved the Monster logo's in paint" So I turned round and said thanks and then proceeded to tell them It was my bike. Have you ever had one off those double take moments??? all 3 where a lot shorter than me and one was wearing a baseball cap with "Monster logo" on it! this was when I did my double take!!!!
"IT WAS JOHN HOPKINS!!!" we then spent 15 mins chatting and he absolutely loved the paint job I had done on bike! "my head did not swell...................." (he would not confirm new paint scheme for GP bike! did try) asked him for pic with bike but he politely declined saying he's still contracted with Suzuki but one off his friends gave me his mobile number and said he would do a picture for me at British GP at Donny. What a result!!
Now second bonus. Fast Bikes mag heard about this and have approached me, next year they want to do a Photo shoot and test ride off bike for a couple off page spread!
