Welllll I came THIS close to doing the exact same thing in the work car park the other day on the 10R!!!  [rofl]

Yep started her up...two nice new chicks were having a chat by their cars...looked over admiringly at the  bike...I hopped on, suitable amount of revs slipped her out of the bike parking bay...and then just mini eased in the berries.....about half throttle...honest!!

The result...the rear slips RIGHT out  :toothy3: ..and I swear I was going down...then it gripped...popped me out of the seat in a mini highside  :sad3: righted itself, and then we carried on...as if nothin had happened  :emb: ...I looked in the mirrors...and YUP, they were looking on, open mouthed  [rofl]

ah well, never forget, don't piss around on cold tyres!!  :icon_albino:

If you had binned it, i would of picked it up, got on and road into the distance never to return to that job again!!!! :lol:

Good save Al. Know how you feel, did the same taking wifes zx6r for MOT. Leaving home damp road back end slid out chucking me out of seat, all infront of the missus. Don,t know what worried me more ,nuts on tank or what the wife would of done to me!!!

If you like winding the missus up try this one. Park bike by front door and as the are dutifully saying goodbye spin the rear tyre up. When I got to work I had 4 abussive texts a message with the secretary calling me a B**@@rd ! Apparentley she used 3 cans of air freshener and still couldn't shift the smell of burning  rubber. [whistle]
