Never did it before I started Biking, but will be doing it in a few weeks, just wondered do any of you guys/gals do it, or started doing it after you started biking?? (as in, I may well want it back later )

Gave my 35th donation last Friday. Started when I was about 20, (now 41) before I rode bikes.  Hopefully will never want it back, but yes I do give for one of those reasons. Oh and the free cup of tea.

i think this is the best charity you can give. i used to do it til an operation requiring a transfusion precluded me. im still livid that they cant just do a test on me so that i can give again.

Used to donate, but had to stop 'cos I was on meds.

Off the meds now, so should be clear to donate again soon.

However, having re-started skydiving again, it's not recommended as it reduces the bloods oxygen carrying ability & that's not a good thing at altitude.
