Today the 6 points I picked up for my last speeding pull become spent !   

Give's me a bit more leeway when it comes to playtime & I no-longer need to be quite so paranoid whilst out riding,  'cos even a measly fixed penalty 3 pointer in the last 3 years would have left me on well dodgy ground & working nights (one of my shift patterns finishes @ 03:30 & I live 40 miles from work) means I really do need my licence.

So virtual beers all round !!

Pat,that extra 3 points you mentioned wouldve been topped up to maybe 5....like they done to me!!...i was on 6 points got caught again  for a 3 pointer but they topped it up to 5 points giving me 11 points!! That was a case of being Mr Cautious for a while as like you i NEED my license to get to work,at the time i was a Mobile engineer now im at a  static site and work  shifts as well.
