The biggest problem at the minute is that Iraq and Afghan do not count as "at War"...if it did the compensation would be greater!  Apparently being shot at and being able to shoot back  doesn't count as War....wtf?

I was married to the forces for 6 years and have to be honest and say the treatment of families when someone dies, personally I think is awful and disgracful.  I have seen families have to leave quarters less than 6 months after they're loved one has been killed and get minimum financial payouts.

I think its as good as spitting in the faces of the brave lads and lasses who defend this nation.  Awful.....truly awful!

Lots of people I talk to feel the same way, yet when we get a chance to say this to the politicians, how many people actually do? The apathy in this country is incredibly alarming...if people stood up and were counted, we would be back as a superpower like Henas said...

sorry at the end of the day each and every soldier stands there and takes an oath to protect their queen and country

now fucking correct me if im wrong if any soldier goes to anywhere to do a job it is for queen and country

everyone of these people should as and when they leave or if they are medically discharged due to injury etc during a job should be looked after for the rest of there lives
