Renthal hard-anodised rear sprockets
« on: July 18, 2007, 09:02:57 PM »

What sort of mileage are you lot getting? (If you use them that is).

The reason i ask is this :

Fitted one to my ZX10 along with a -1 tooth front and new DID x-ring chain.
There's barely a mark on the steel front sprocket and the chain has only needed adjustment a couple of times in 2000 miles (this includes around 8 track days).
However, the rear sprocket is totally goosed - every one of the teeth has some damage with three of the teeth snapped in half !

I only noticed after giving it a clean whilst doing a tyre change but 2000 miles ???

Am I expecting too much from an alloy sprocket?
