How did I live without one?

Hola everyone, just got a C2 zx10R in blik, must be the sexiest bike on the road, I am absolutely in love! It sounds very tame with the standard can but is so awesomely flexible after my R6 - but does want to slap a lot.   I bought it in christchurch and thoroughly loved the 70 miles home to Guildford, but I guess it must be limited to 189 leptons as it got there no probs and sat there for a good while!!  [rofl]

New can and damper and I'll be happy... except for one thing (which I'll post elsewhere).

PS  - looks a very slick site, looking forward to dredging it for info

I think the speedo is limited to 189, the bike just carries on and on and on and ........

welcome to the forum again .... the bike isn't linited to 189 matey the speedo only goes to 189 with standard gearing you will get just shy of 200mph when it hits the rev limiter on a down hill with the wind behind you.... but the speedo at that speed reads high

a mate saw 189 on the clock true ground speed was 175 measured on a garmin etrek

Yeah, it defo still pulls after 189 and the revs still keep going....  Did you not feel it still pulling when you kept it pinned and the speedo hit 189?

F :shock: k me.....189....them private driveway/runaways are popping up everywhere...LOL

I had 181 the other day on my mates private road that looks very similar to a main a road....got to be honest....shit myself!
