Si's test is what was called a a.p.f.a    (army physical fitness assesment)  I used to piss it 7minutes my fastes  mile and a half? :pottytrain2:


still hold the record at the  M.C.T.C     colchester  for there stream test got into the high stream every time no worries????

but as for the engineers  don't they just sit in a custome mead scammell and throw lage pieces of metal over rivers? :brave:

showing you age there henas.... but even when I was 13 it was called a BFT as I used to do it in cadets......and thats was fooking ages ago  :shock:

Michael was awesome he almost matched us  :shock: he lagged a bit at the end though....  I was taking it easy a bit but 16 plates on the lat pull down again.... 16 on the row.... we changed it up a bit doing a few reps... then dead lifts etc then on to Biceps done 3 excercise 6 sets pretty nice sess  :icon_thumright:

Cool,He was doing well on Monday....considering he has been away from the Gym for quite a while!!

sorry mate there are three test still on going in the military today the firts is a straight  mile and a half in 10min30 sec called a b.f.t (basic fittness test)
then the as i said a.p.f.a witch again is like the b.f.t but with added exercizes after the mile and a half, i'e  1.5 mls then as  press ups in 1 min then as many sit ups in a min then as many dips in a minute? Remember it well as it was an exercize i had in training and i used to use on the officers in sandhurst?

thebn last but not lest what you para boys like the C.F.T   (combat fitness test)   x 3   3 miler (killer pace in under 60 min)
                                                                                                                                                                           6 miler  and the 8 miler

BPFA is the 1.5 mile run with 2 minutes of situps and 2 minutes of pressups I think you have to 2 a minimum of 50 of both in the para's

but as Si said they have change the name of it ....AGAIN  :tongue3:

but the Para's used to have to do it in under 9.30 I used to frequent the low 8 minutes fastest time being 7.53  :icon_thumright:
