Hi all! Newbie here im afraid, and fairly new to riding aswell. I currently own a 1999 suzuki sv650s, unfortunatly restricted to 33bhp as per the lawful requirements. Its still a fun ride though, I get alot of kicks from my yellow beast!
Just joining really to find out more about the zx10r, how good a bike it is to own (i.e. reliability etc). I won't be getting another bike for a few years yet, but it'l be something in addition to the SV (i wont get rid, because I have fitted a top box - don't laugh - so its worth its weight in gold as a practical bike, far more than whatever real money i would get for it). The ZX-10R looks like a good candidate. I especially like the look of the most recent model. Some say its ugly, specialy the rear end, but it somehow looks good when flying past you at 160mph...
As for me, I'm a student studying chemistry at kingston uni.
