bad luck mate, not even your fault with there being gravel in the road but at least your safe

on another point, was there any signs of road works about?? when i came off mine it was on gravel left behind after road works, claimed off the council and they paid for the bike to be fixed

maybe a possibility maybe not??

Oh dear another one down. Bad luck dude at least it looks cosmetic and not any major frame or engine damage. I've had the ol' gravel trip. It makes you feel helpless.

Hope you get it bright and shiny soon.

Cheers Simple, never heard it that way around before.

No road works Chris, just road debris from the rain that's been there over the past couple of days.

I consider myself quite lucky cos it could have been much worse for both me and the bike.  As it is I can still use it to get to work and stuff  and I've only got a slight limp with no damage to my riding gear.  It did also happen on a bend in the mountains so that's another reason to be gratefull.

Hehe, the only thing I'm in a hurry to replace is the mirror.  Funny how you never use them, but once their gone you can't live without them.
As far as the plastics go, I've got some T-Cut in the garage  [rofl] no rush, they'll get changed when I find them at the right price.  Plus it means I can dive into roundabouts now without fear of scratching it  [rofl] [rofl]

Cheers all, but apart from what I've mentioned above, all is fine.

It did take about 20 miles of riding before I finally said to myself  "Stop looking for gravel all over the road and ride the fucking bike"

Don't often have to have a word with myself, but it did work as I then hit a series of roundabouts along the A470 and gradually kept tipping it deeper and deeper in order to get over that fear factor.

Andy, I think I'm ready for my flower stickers now  [rofl]  hope you got a big job lot, think I might need them  [rofl]
