I know they are heavy. It's old ohlins technology in them. I think the internals are the same as in yours Glenn. The superbike forks are the ones to go for

surely they would be the 25 mm internals though mine are only 20mm .... I could be wrong  :dontknow:

thats crap it don't even say on the website

I may be wrong, but i'm pretty sure the ohlins R&T are 20mm carts. The suberbike forks are 25 iirc

her's an excert from a suspension forum from Dan Kyle

It is our experiance that the R and T forks are more for road than track. The way they come out of the box, they do have a lot of dive on the track but ride well on the street.

We talk to people before selling them the forks to try and determind what they will be using the forks for, if they are using them for any track use or perhaps even hard street riding we offer to install the Superbike valve parts and labor for an additional $300, the parts alone are $350.

We also install the correct springs for each persons weight, and as Ohlins does not take fork spring back, like they will with shock springs, we eat the cost of those springs when we do it.  Most Rand T forks come stock with .95 springs.

We sell the R and T Forks for any model for $2139. Retail is $2595.

I'll tell ya what fella you can get the stock forks polished up and the slider coatings on the 10r forks is probably better than the ohlins gold nitriding!
