Well at this junctor I should be extolling the virtues of trackdays etc.

Well, did`nt even get there [wall] [wall] [wall]

My car (am a Driving Instructor) started cutting out on Saturday so had to curtail all lessons over the weekend.

Got it to the dealer Monday am and was advised fuel pump knackered. As I lease the car I contacted the company who, to there credit would be dispatcing a car asap, however, they are based in Bristol and would`nt get to me before 4pm.

Not a problem, the Wife would stay behind and sign for it.

"Sorry, you must sign for it" My Fucking heart sank.Well that was a right royal fook up.

Car turned up at 430pm, was sooo pissed off, and I had to give the driver a lift back to Cambridge station.

This is the THIRD trackday I`ve booked and never got to.

Was booked on a Mcnninjas trackday last year and couldnt do it as my parents (who lived abroad) turned up to stay (ermm, they didnt know I had passed my bike test then. I know 45 and a coward. Amonth after they moved to Eire I had passed my test :brave: what they never knew did`nt hurt them.)

Then I booked another Mcnninjas trackday, even hired a bike, night before trackday my sons partner goes into labour and produces my first Grandchild (ok was worth missing it for that  )

And then yesterdays debarcle(sp)

Am I never to do a trackday  bloody jinxed I am!!!

The MCNNinjas have a trackday this Friday mate, and there's a free spaces in the groups last time I looked mate.
The whole fest starts on the Thursday night, track on Friday, followed by the pub, Saturday is a 160 mile rideout through mid Wales followed by a big BBQ and party till the sun comes up and then Sunday is a coastal rideout (60 odd miles) followed by a big fry up brekkie at a bikers cafe.

I'll be there so if you can get a leave of absence get and book it mate, it's a top weekend.  :icon_thumleft:
